Legal
Terms of Use
Effective date: August 25, 2026
1. About the service
Diplace (the Platform) is an international aggregator of opportunities for young people. We collect and publish links to internships, grants, contests, sports and cultural events from open sources and partners.
Diplace is an information intermediary: we are not the organizer of the published opportunities. Decisions on admission, participation terms, deadlines and pricing are made by the respective organizers on their own resources.
2. Who can use it
Browsing the catalog is open to everyone without registration. The Platform is intended for youth and school students of all grades.
Accounts are created via Google sign-in. The minimum age for an account is 13. If you are under 18, create an account and use the service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
When signing in you confirm with separate checkboxes that you are at least 13 and that, if you are a minor, you use the service with your parents' permission. We store the date of that confirmation and the version of the documents in your profile. If we learn that an account was created by someone under 13, we delete the account and the data linked to it; you can report this at akm.work.acc@gmail.com. You are responsible for keeping your access secure.
3. Rules of use
By using the Platform, you agree to:
- not break the law or the rights of third parties;
- not attempt unauthorized access to the service or other users' data;
- not use automated scraping that disrupts the Platform;
- not claim someone else's achievements as your own and not upload forged proof.
For the Teams section (posts looking for teammates), additionally: publish only your own contacts and your own data, never someone else's; do not post insults, spam, advertising or commercial offers; do not impersonate another person or organization. The same applies to the display name you choose. We may remove a post or reset a name that breaks these rules without warning, and restrict access to the section on repeated violations.
4. Paid placements for organizations
Listing an opportunity in the catalog is free. Separately, organizers may pay for promotion: pinning a card to the top of the catalog, a verified profile and partner packages. Terms and prices are published on the For organizations page.
Paid promotion affects the display order only and does not affect the card's content: the description, dates and link stay the same as for free listings. Promoted cards are marked in the catalog. Paying for promotion does not mean Diplace has vetted or endorses the program.
The verified organizer checkmark is not for sale. It is granted only after we have looked at the organizer: whether the organization exists and the program is real. Paying for any package does not switch it on by itself, and paid partnership carries a separate label, Diplace partner. If the check does not pass, the promotion you paid for still runs, but there will be no checkmark.
Payment is made by invoice or transfer before placement starts. If the promotion was not launched through our fault, the payment is refunded or carried over to the next period, at the organizer's choice.
5. Diplace Pro subscription
Some features require the paid Diplace Pro subscription: the Mentor's step plan and the application answer review. The catalog, filters, finding a team, the portfolio and the ranking stay free and will not be moved behind the subscription.
The price is shown on the subscription page. Payment is made by transfer, access is switched on manually and lasts until the stated date, after which it expires automatically. The Platform never receives or stores your card details.
AI features have daily and monthly request limits that protect the service from excessive load; they are shown in the interface. A place in the ranking is never for sale: points come only from verified achievements.
The full purchase terms, including cancellation and refunds, are set out in the public offer. In short: you may cancel at any time without giving a reason, we refund the unused part of the term, and we process requests within 10 working days. Write to akm.work.acc@gmail.com.
6. Features based on a language model
The application review and the Mentor run on a third-party language model. The text you enter is sent to Google for processing - details are in the Privacy Policy.
The model's output is an opinion, not an admissions decision, and not a guarantee of admission, a win or a grant. Verify requirements on the organizer's official site and make your own decisions. We are not liable for the consequences of following the model's advice.
Do not enter other people's personal data, documents, or information you are not willing to pass to a third-party service.
7. Third-party content, links and takedown
Opportunity cards link to third-party sites. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee the relevance, completeness or availability of third-party information, and we are not responsible for the content and actions of third-party resources and organizers. Always verify terms on the organizer's official site.
A card describes an opportunity through facts: title, dates, requirements and a link to the organizer. Diplace writes its own summaries; we do not publish or store the original texts of third-party sites.
By default we do not vet organizers and we are not a party to your relationship with them. There is one exception: an organizer marked as «verified». A human adds that mark by hand and only after we have looked at the organisation, and it means exactly this and nothing more: the organisation exists, its contacts and registration details match what is publicly known, and there are no complaints against it. The mark cannot be bought with any package, does not extend to a particular programme, and is not our guarantee of its terms or of any outcome. Any participation fee is paid directly to the organizer: no money passes through the Platform and we are not a party to such payments. Do not transfer money or hand over documents unless the organizer's official page requires it, and treat promises of guaranteed income, a guaranteed visa or a job in exchange for an upfront payment with caution.
If an opportunity looks like it breaks the rules or looks like a scam, press Report on the card. We review reports within 3 business days and remove the card if the report holds; when several different users report the same card, it is hidden from the catalog automatically pending review. The same rule applies to posts on the teams board.
If you are a rights holder and believe that material on the Platform infringes your rights, write to akm.work.acc@gmail.com. Include the link to the card, your rights in the material and a contact for our reply. We review such requests within 3 business days and then remove the material, correct it, or explain why we consider the listing lawful. An organizer may also ask us to remove their logo or to stop collecting their programs: we disable the source on request.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Diplace is not liable for lost profits or indirect damages related to the use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
9. Intellectual property
The name, design and original materials of the Platform belong to Diplace. Rights to third-party materials (organizers' logos and descriptions) belong to their owners. The text you enter yourself - application answers, achievement descriptions, a Teams post - remains yours; we use it only to operate the features listed above.
10. Changes and termination
We may change the service's features and these Terms. You can delete your account at any time in Account. We may restrict access if the rules are violated.
11. Personal data
Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Participant data: organizer obligations
If you accept applications through Diplace, you receive the participant's name and contact. By accepting applications you agree to the following.
- Selection only. Contacts are passed to you solely to select participants for the program the application was submitted to. Any other purpose requires the person's separate consent.
- No onward transfer. You may not pass, sell or disclose the data to third parties, including partners and contractors, except where directly necessary to run the program itself.
- No mailings. You may not add participants to newsletters, marketing lists or chats without their separate request.
- Delete after selection. Data is deleted within 90 days of the selection ending, and within 30 days of a participant asking. Anything kept longer must be required by law, and only for as long as the law requires.
- Many participants are under 18. Write to them about the program. Asking for photographs, documents, payments or personal contacts outside the program is not allowed.
Breaking any of these means all your programs are taken down and your access to applications is closed. If a participant's data ends up somewhere it should not, we tell them.
13. Governing law and disputes
The Platform is run by a private individual, the author of the project, located in the Republic of Kazakhstan. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A pre-court claim is required. Before going to court, send a written claim to akm.work.acc@gmail.com. We reply within 30 calendar days of receipt.
