Who takes part
Everyone with a Diplace profile: school students, university students and graduates. There is no separate application, you are in from the moment your first achievement is verified.
How it is counted
By portfolio points, the very same ones shown in the global ranking. Only a verified achievement earns points: a diploma, a certificate, an acceptance letter. The level of the program and whether it is international both matter.
The period we count
The first draw is in May 2027, and it counts points earned between 1 September 2026 and 30 April 2027. Each following school year is counted separately: points from past years stay in your portfolio but do not carry over into a new draw.
When
Once a year, in May, when the school year ends. We announce the winner on the home page and write to the email used at sign-in. The money arrives the same month.
The check before payout
Every achievement of the winner is reviewed by hand, all of them, BEFORE the announcement: the name we call out is already checked. If a proof turns out to be forged, the prize goes to the next person and the profile is closed for good.
What we publish about the winner
The name as it is shown on the site, and the school if the winner does not mind. We do not publish the full name, the email, the grade or the city. If the winner asks not to be named at all, we announce the result without a name.
School of the year
A school score is counted separately: the sum of its students' points. The winning school gets the title and a place on the home page. Its students compete for the main prize on equal terms with everyone.
If you left the ranking
Then you do not take part: only those visible in the ranking are counted. You can come back any time in portfolio settings.
