SAHR Essay Prize 2027 on British Army History: Contest for Sixth Form School Students and Undergraduates
For sixth form school students and undergraduates regardless of nationality and country of residence: there are two categories, school and university. The Society for Army Historical Research (SAHR) accepts essays on the history of the British and Commonwealth armies until 28 February 2027; an essay already written, for example as coursework, is also fine if it has not been published elsewhere. The winner of each category receives £300 and the runner-up £100, and both receive an engraved commemorative glass.
