Jacobs Teen Innovation Challenge 2027: UN SDG projects for ages 13-18, until 17 April
Teams of students aged 13-18 from any country (the page lists participants from 30+ countries) explore a real-world problem through the UN Sustainable Development Goals, build a tangible prototype (a model, sketch, digital mockup or service blueprint) and record a video pitch of 5-6 minutes. Teams are registered by an adult aged 18 or older (a teacher, mentor, coach or parent); there is no limit on team size, and 3-6 students are recommended. Entries close on 17 April 2027 at 11:59 PM Pacific time with no extensions, and the award ceremony takes place online on 29 May 2027. Registration, the curriculum and coaching are free; the challenge runs in English and Spanish, and the page does not name any prizes.
