Mosquito Alert: report tiger mosquitoes and other disease vectors in an app
Mosquito Alert is a citizen science project to investigate and control disease-carrying mosquitoes: the tiger mosquito and the yellow fever mosquito, which spread Zika, dengue and chikungunya. Participants download the app and send photos when they see a tiger mosquito, a common house mosquito or another species the project is looking for; findings from around the world are shown on an interactive map in real time. The site has an Education section, and age, cost and deadline are not stated on the page.
