Air Astana Apprentice: aircraft engineer training with EASA certification

Only for citizens of Kazakhstan aged 18 to 21. A five-year Air Astana Group programme: from the first year participants work as junior mechanics, while Part-66 module training in Almaty and Astana is paid for by the company; graduates can earn an EASA Part-66 certificate. Good knowledge of physics and mathematics and English at Pre-intermediate level or above are required. Applications are open until 30 May 2027.

Air Astana Ab Initio: pilot training paid for by the airline

Only for citizens of Kazakhstan aged 18 to 34. An Air Astana Group programme: over 18 months cadets train as pilots at flight schools in Ireland and Spain, the airline covers all training costs, and cadets receive a stipend throughout the training. Secondary or vocational secondary education and English at Intermediate level or above are required. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
