Penguin Watch: count penguins in camera photos from Antarctica
Volunteers count adult penguins, chicks and eggs in camera images from Antarctica and the Southern Ocean. The data help researchers understand why penguin populations are declining in some regions; more than 100 sites are being monitored. The project interface is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, French and Czech. No special training is needed, there is no application deadline, and a volunteer certificate can be generated in the Zooniverse account.
