Gravity Spy: help LIGO scientists improve gravitational-wave detectors
Volunteers help LIGO scientists work out how to improve gravitational-wave detectors, which brings new discoveries closer. In 2015 the Advanced LIGO detectors made the first observation of gravitational waves, which are produced by events such as collisions of black holes. The project interface is in English only. No special training is needed, there is no application deadline, and a volunteer certificate can be generated in the Zooniverse account.
