Amgen Scholars at Tsinghua University 2027: eight weeks of research in Beijing for students from Asia
Open to undergraduate students at universities in Asia who have completed their first year (no citizenship requirement; Kazakhstan is on the Amgen Scholars Asia list of eligible countries), with good English: TOEFL iBT 72 or IELTS 5.5 and above. The programme is eight weeks of intensive research at Tsinghua University in Beijing; according to the programme site, summer 2027 runs provisionally from June 4 to August 6. It covers a stipend, round-trip airfare to Beijing, summer session tuition, housing and a meal allowance. The deadline on the Amgen Scholars site is February 1, 2027, while the Tsinghua site gives an application window from November 1, 2026 to March 1, 2027.
