Switzer Fellowship 2027: $18,000 for Environmental Master's and PhD Students in the US
For US citizens and permanent residents, DACA recipients, refugees, and asylees pursuing a master's or PhD at a US university (online programs are not eligible); international students are not considered. An annual fellowship for future environmental leaders: $18,000 paid in two installments, two in-person multi-day retreats, leadership training, and access to the fellowship network grants. Master's students must have completed at least one semester by the end of 2026, and PhD students must have passed their qualifying exams by the application deadline. Applications are accepted until December 14, 2026.
