Open Food Facts: fill the open database of food products from around the world
Open Food Facts is a non-profit open database of food products made entirely by volunteers. You can take part through the app by scanning the barcode of a product at home or in a store and uploading photos of its label, or without a smartphone by adding products on the website with a camera. Volunteers also translate the site and app into their language, complete product records (crop photos, enter ingredients) and build local communities. The project runs all year.
