National High School Journal of Science: publishing scientific articles by high school students
For high school students: a free, peer-reviewed online journal that accepts original research done by high school students and articles on significant developments in science and policy. The journal always welcomes new authors and lists no submission deadline; a manuscript (up to 20 pages including figures and tables) is submitted through the form on the site. Reviewers are graduate students, postdocs and scientists: the median time to a first decision is about 8 weeks and 95% of papers get one within 14 weeks; an optional expedited review with a 2-week turnaround costs $280.
