Heidelberg Laureate Forum 2027: applications for young researchers in mathematics and computer science
Open to bachelor's and master's students (without a master's degree), PhD students and those who earned a PhD within the past 5 years (one may attend only once at each academic level) in mathematics, computer science and related fields. The forum takes place on September 11-18, 2027: young researchers meet laureates of the top prizes in mathematics and computer science, and the top 100 in each discipline are invited. The organisers pay for a hotel with breakfast, lunches, dinners and coffee breaks and provide documents for a visa; travel is not covered automatically, but if other sources decline, participants can apply for a travel grant from the organisers (May 3 - June 23, 2027). The application includes a CV, a motivational statement and a recommendation from a professor or supervisor (submitted by the referee directly); applications are accepted from November 11, 2026 to February 11, 2027 (11:59 p.m. Berlin time), and the forum's language is English.
