HackUTD 2026: Zero Day - a free 24-hour hackathon at UT Dallas, 7-8 November
Open to currently enrolled students of any school and graduates less than a year out; high school students can join from 18, and younger ones need a guardian and a signed form. The organisers call it the largest 24-hour university hackathon in North America: it takes place on 7-8 November 2026 at The University of Texas at Dallas, with 1,200+ hackers from 30+ universities, teams of 1-4 or solo, and a beginner track. Participation is free, applications are open now with a priority deadline of 3 October 2026; travel is partly or fully reimbursed on request, but not for everyone.
