2nd Tajikistan President's Cup: open chess tournament in Dushanbe, November 9-17
Open to chess players from any country: Group A for players with a FIDE rating of 2200 and above, Group B for 2199 and below. The nine-round Swiss tournament (90 minutes per game plus 30 seconds per move) takes place on November 9-17, 2026 in Dushanbe, in the conference hall of the Istiklol hotel. Applications are sent to info@tjchess.tj; the fee for foreign participants in Groups A and B is 100 US dollars, and participation is free for holders of the GM, IM, WGM and WIM titles. The last day for registration with payment is October 10; until October 31 the fee is accepted with a 50% surcharge.
