City Nature Challenge 2027: a four-day global bioblitz, 30 April - 3 May
For anyone who can photograph or record sounds of wild plants and animals in their city (no age is stated on the page): an annual four-day global bioblitz run by the Community Science teams at the California Academy of Sciences and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. In 2027 observations are collected from 30 April to 3 May, then from 4 to 16 May participants upload and identify what they found, and results are announced on 20 May 2027. Observations are shared through iNaturalist or the platform chosen by the city; cities around the world take part, and city organizers are already preparing for 2027.
