Boston University accepts students aged 14-18 who have completed 9th grade (or its equivalent) to PROMYS, which runs from 27 June to 7 August 2027. The page gives the application deadline only as "end of February 2027, TBD", with no exact date and no opening date. International students may apply, but space is limited and financial aid for them is considered case by case; all applicants, including international ones, are considered for the Breakout Fellowship, a full scholarship. In 2026 participation cost up to $8,000 depending on aid, and for US families earning under $80,000 a year the program is free.
