For volunteers aged 18 to 70 from any country with English language skills. The project runs from 31 October 2026 to 11 July 2027 in Oi village (Anan city, Tokushima Prefecture): harvesting and shipping sudachi citrus and Japanese star anise, planting seedlings, a weekly Language Cafe for local children and adults, and cleaning and repairing vacant houses. Volunteers stay in local farmhouses and take turns cooking; the fee is 72,000 JPY, and applications go through the SCI volunteering projects platform.
