International Court of Justice Internship: archives and records management, The Hague, 3-6 months

For final-year bachelor's students, master's and PhD students, and graduates of those programmes; knowledge of information, archives and records management (preference for archives and records management, information management, library science, law, international relations or history) and English or French at UN Level III are required. The intern in the Archives of the International Court of Justice reviews archival files and identifies their contents, digitizes fragile records, helps prepare inventories and finding aids, checks metadata and works with the collections of the Permanent Court of International Justice. The internship is in person in The Hague for 3 to 6 months and is not paid by the UN: travel, visa, accommodation and living costs are borne by the intern or the sponsoring institution; applications are accepted until 31 October 2026 on the UN careers portal (careers.un.org).
