An international citizen science campaign in which participants measure the brightness of the night sky and submit observations through a web app available in 28 languages. The next observation windows are 2-11 October, 1-10 November and 30 November - 9 December 2026. Go outside more than an hour after sunset (around 8-10 pm local time) when the Moon is not up, and let your eyes adapt to the dark for about 10 minutes. A smartphone, tablet or computer will do.
