For volunteers aged 18 and over from any country with English language skills. The camp runs from 18 to 30 November 2026 in Peñita de Jaltemba (Mexico): night patrols of the beaches, finding adult turtles that come ashore and collecting their eggs, moving the eggs to a protected hatchery (vivero), releasing newly hatched turtles into the sea and doing some reconstruction at the region's most important turtle camps; volunteers work in shifts (one night on, one night off), and the schedule depends on the weather and the number of turtles. Accommodation is in a room shared with another volunteer and food is provided; the participation fee is 475 EUR, and applications go through the Service Civil International (SCI) volunteering projects platform.
