Open to everyone, individually or in teams of up to 5; no age restrictions are stated on the page. The online jam runs on itch.io from 17 to 31 January 2027, and the theme is chosen by community vote from 10 options and announced on the first day. Entries must include a game design document; AI-generated content is not allowed, and only assets with a commercial license may be used. Pirate Software runs its jams twice a year, and all of its jams have prizes; the organizer is Pirate Software.
