Debris Tracker is a citizen science mobile app: volunteers log the litter they find in their community, and the collected plastic pollution data become open to scientists and everyone else. The app was developed in 2010 by the NOAA Marine Debris Program and the College of Engineering at the University of Georgia, and the project is now powered by Morgan Stanley with the National Geographic Society. The page lists no application deadline.
