Only for adults, as defined by the law of the country of residence; residents of Russia, Brazil, Quebec, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Crimea are not eligible. A large hackathon co-located with the DeveloperWeek conference: teams form on Devpost and can build an app from scratch, solving sponsor challenges or building whatever they like. The online stage runs from 25 January to 11 February 2027, and the in-person part with the awards is on 9-11 February at the Santa Clara Convention Center; registration on both Devpost and Eventbrite is required. The prize pool starts at $5,000, and the overall winner's prize is valued at $12,500.
