The first round of the British Mathematical Olympiad for students in Year 13 or below, including students from other countries. UKMT invites around 1,000 top participants of the Senior Mathematical Challenge, and a school may also enter other students for 40 pounds each; invited students enter for free. The round takes place on 18 November 2026, answer sheets must be uploaded by 19 November 2026, and the school registers and enters students on the UKMT platform.
