Open to students, researchers, developers, designers and changemakers worldwide. The hackathon runs for four weeks, from 28 September to 25 October 2026, and projects are due by 11:59 p.m. UTC on 25 October. Winners will be announced on 10-21 November 2026 at the UN climate conference COP31, and prizes and certificates are distributed before 31 January 2027.
