An online weekend hackathon with in-person hubs at Collider in New York City and AI Safety Hong Kong: teams of 1-5 pick an open question about collusion between AI agents, build a controlled experiment that answers it and write up what they found. Engineers, researchers and people from any industry are welcome, and no background in AI safety or ML is required. It runs 23-25 October 2026 with $2,000 in cash prizes ($1,000, $500, $300 and $100 each for 4th and 5th place); winners get a fellowship fast-track and mentor introductions.
