Google Developer Groups (GDG): a developer community with local chapters worldwide

For everyone interested in technology, from beginners to professionals (no age is stated on the page): Google Developer Groups is an inclusive community for building new skills and meeting local developers online and in person. According to Google, there are more than 2,000 community groups and more than 1,000 industry experts in the network; in Kazakhstan there are GDG Almaty (more than 2,500 members on the group's page), GDG Astana and GDG Aktobe, with workshops, meetups and DevFest conferences. To join, sign up on gdg.community.dev and look for a local chapter and nearby events; university students can also apply to lead a GDG on Campus.
