Only for adults, as defined by the law of the country of residence, and entrants must be members of the Meta Start developer programme (you can join by application, in about 5 minutes). Not open to residents of Russia, Brazil, Quebec, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Crimea. Over eight weeks participants build an app for Meta Quest and Meta VR glasses in gaming, entertainment and productivity, controlled by hands without controllers. Projects are accepted until 12:00 pm Pacific Time on 18 November 2026; the prize pool is $1,000,000, with top prizes of $100,000.
