Multi-cultural and holiday festival camp in Badagry (Lagos), Nigeria, 8-20 December 2026, ages 18+

For volunteers aged 18 and over from any country with English language skills who are open to other cultures and interested in environmental issues; applications are accepted until 21 November 2026. The camp runs from 8 to 20 December 2026 at the Gberefu Permaculture Garden environmental education centre in Badagry (Lagos State, Nigeria): sessions with local youth on storytelling, the voice of change, history and the arts of the country, planting trees and flowers, a beautification project at a public monument, a boat cruise to the Point of No Return monument, visits to museums, and participation in International Volunteer Day and the annual volunteers' expo. Accommodation is at the centre and food is included; the participation fee is 300 EUR (preparation, administration, airport pick-up and return, food, accommodation and evaluation), and applications go through the Service Civil International (SCI) volunteering projects platform.
