For anyone (the project provides help materials on species names and collectors): a Zooniverse project of the Field Museum in Chicago in which volunteers transcribe data from the handwritten ledgers of the Invertebrate Zoology Collection so that records of molluscs become available in an online database. The collection holds around 5 million specimens, roughly one million of which remain inaccessible to the public and scientists, and the project aims to transcribe the remaining ~75,000 lots. Participation is online with no deadline, and Zooniverse lets volunteers generate a volunteer certificate.
