The International category accepts teams from any country in which every player is at least 18 years old by the registration deadline, while Hong Kong secondary school and university students have separate categories. The qualifying round runs online on 6-7 November 2026 (24 hours, Jeopardy format), and the final takes place on site in Hong Kong on 7 January 2027. Teams of 1 to 4 players register on the competition website by 20 October 2026. The top five teams of the International category advance to the final: the organizers provide hotel accommodation and a travel subsidy, and the prizes are HKD 16,000, 13,000 and 11,000 per team.
