Volunteer camp at Mikuluni school, Kilifi County, Kenya, 4-20 December 2026, ages 18+

For volunteers aged 18 and over from any country with English language skills. The camp runs from 4 to 20 December 2026 at Mikuluni Primary School (about 540 pupils), a public school in Kilifi County (Kenya): in this semi-arid area children drop out because of hunger, so the school grows crops with climate-smart agriculture technology and uses the income to feed its pupils. Volunteers mulch crops and trees, water trees by drip irrigation with bottles, raise seedlings, spray against pests, harvest vegetables, teach and take part in intercultural activities. Accommodation is inside the school in basic conditions, the host provides foodstuffs and volunteers cook in turns; the participation fee is 300 EUR, and applications go through the Service Civil International (SCI) volunteering projects platform.
