For students aged 13 and over; residents of Russia, Brazil, Quebec, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Crimea are not eligible. The theme is artificial intelligence for human health; alone or in a team, participants build a technical product that helps detect illness earlier, understand it better or live with it more easily. The competition is run by BioCataalysis and UnivaDev, and submissions are accepted until 6 October 2026, 11:45 pm US Eastern Time. Prizes are non-cash: platform credits and subscriptions (advertised as $40,000 in the title).
