For everyone aged 13 or older (subject to country eligibility rules): a free month-long open source celebration that in 2026 focuses on open-weight models and open-source AI. In October there are 300+ in-person Fests in cities around the world and an online programme of MLH livestreams, weekly DEV mini-hackathons and Global Hack Week (9-15 October). Participants sign in with MyMLH; collecting three virtual stickers earns a mailed pack of real stickers, and pull requests no longer count towards rewards.
