For anyone regardless of age, education and citizenship: residents of Russia and other countries who speak Russian or the languages into which one of the versions is translated can take part. The Russian Geographical Society holds the annual international educational campaign with questions on the geography of Russia: in person at venues on 22 November 2026, and online at dictant.rgo.ru from 12:00 on 22 November to 12:00 on 10 December 2026 Moscow time, without prior registration. Participation is free of charge; in the main variant the certificate and the result are available from 21 December 2026, while in the extra variant the result is shown immediately but no certificate is issued.
